Authentication for Racer X Illustrated Digital Editions, through Olive software, is based on a browser's cookies. When cookies are disabled you will not be able to access the magazines for viewing. Be sure cookies are enabled in your browser if you are having problems viewing issues.

Problems downloading an issue?
Currently, Olive software only supports the ability to download the magazine for offline viewing using Internet Explorer.

While viewing the magazine, choose File>Save for offline reading.

When all the pages are downloaded, the standard "Add Favorite” dialog appears.

IMPORTANT: To read the magazine while offline, you have to switch your browser to the offline mode (Menu: File>Work Offline). If you clear the browser cache, you cannot read the saved magazine.

What is the digital format, and how is it different from the print format?

Does the digital format contain everything in the print format: articles, photos, and advertising?

Yes, the digital format is an exact duplicate of our print version. You won't miss a single article, photo or advertisement.

What application will I use to read my digital magazine?

You don't need to download any third-party software; our digital editions are readable with all of the leading browsers.

How do I get my digital issues?

You will get a temporary username and password with your subscription confirmation and will use that to log in to the current issue immediately. Racer X will notify you by email when the next issue of your subscription becomes available. You will need your customer number from the body of that email to create your permanent account. You will be notified by email as each additional issue on your order is available.

Can I read my digital magazines at work and at home?

Yes, there's no limit to the number of times you can download an issue, as long as you only log on from one machine at a time.

Can I run a keyword search on a particular subject?

Yes, you can. You can search across all your magazines for a word or set of words, making it easier to find that article you remember reading last month.

Will back issue archives be available? Is there a charge to access them?

The last six issues will be available and there will be no charge to access them. There may be additional back issues for sale at www.racerxbrand.com. Issues beyond what you find there are not currently available in digital format.

What is the cost of a digital subscription compared to print?

A digital subscription costs $14.98 USD compared to $19.98 USD for the print edition.

Why do you need my email address?

Racer X uses your email address to notify you when each issue of your subscription becomes available.

Can I print pages from the digital edition?

It prints one page per sheet of paper, but there are lots of options. You can adjust the size of the paper you print to, print a single page at a time, a range of pages (for example a feature), or even the entire issue all at once.

What if I am already a subscriber to the print edition? Can I convert my subscription to the digital edition?

Yes, you may switch from the print edition to the digital edition. Please email racerx@pcspublink.com and tell them you would like to convert your subscription.

Is there a limit on the number of times I can download and/or access the information in the digital version?

No, there is no limit. You can access your issues as often as you want.
